Wonderful work & excellent cleanup! We had many branches overhanging our house as well as a huge willow tree limb that was twisted and resting in another tree. You were very careful as to where the branches and limbs were dropped! Not a twig was left after your cleanup. Thank you.

Tom and his crew removed a dead tree from our yard that was very close to our neighbors home. The crew also cleaned up all of the dying branches hanging over our home. These are 60+ year old oak trees. The team was on time professional and did an incredible job climbing and cutting the trees making sure nothing was damaged. If your looking for affordable tree services and an expert, look no further. Can't say anything but thank you to Tom and the crew.

Our townhome community had a large branch break from one of our trees in our green space. We sent Tom Gillis, the owner, a picture and he was able to give us a very competitive estimate over the phone. He worked very easily with our property manager and was actually out to the property in a couple of hours from initial contact. He took down the large fallen branch, hauled away all refuse and cleaned up with a blower after his work.

As board members on our HOA, we were very pleased with response time, his competitive pricing, and quality of work. We are keeping Gillis Lawn and Tree Care at the top of our list for future tree work.

We highly recommend Gillis Lawn & Tree Care as we had a number of dead trees in our yard and they removed them without damaging anything in our yard or our fence. They also did an exceptional job cleaning up all the trees, twigs and even raked anything else left behind. Very professional and it was all done in one day!!!

Tom was professional, punctual and reliable. His tree removal and trimming expertise was evident in the fine work he did. It was fascinating to watch the mechanics of his tree removal work. He had the equipment he needed to get the job done. He worked steadily and finished sooner than I would have expected. He was respectful in his conversations about the work done.

Tom and Shawn were removing a tree at my neighbor's house and I was impressed! I called expecting to leave a message and Tom answered while onsite. I met him outside, he looked at my trees and gave me great advice. They were able to trim one a remove 3 others that same day! My yard wasn't damaged AT ALL and they did a great clean-up job. They cut down a tree for me. They quoted an honest and fair price verbally and kept their word. They have a very high level of integrity and they did the work in a very professional and focused manner. I was greatly impressed with their knowledge of trees and shrubbery. If you need to have a tree cut down I highly recommend them. I expect that their lawn services would be of equally excellent caliber considering their extensive knowledge of trees and shrubbery. One last but important remark. They were very, very respectful of my property and my belongings and they cleaned up all of the leaves, sticks, and debris that was left on my property when they were finished. Definitely a class act!

Gillis Lawn and Tree Care was great! They removed a very tall tree that had split in half during a recent storm. They were friendly, quick, efficient, cleaned up the yard and recommended a replacement tree for when I'm ready to replant. I would definitely recommend their services!

Tom and Shawn did an amazing job! They took down 2 large trees for us and did some much needed tree trimming.
Both of the trees were super close to our house......they were very careful to not damage the house, driveway or lawn. They also do a great job of cleaning up all of the branches and sawdust.

We hired Tommy Gillis to remove our 35 foot tree in our front yard. Tommy was professional, nice, and right on time. He cleaned everything up. Would recommend Gillis Lawn and Tree service to anyone. They do a great job for a good price.

Tommy Gillis cut down two very large cottonwoods on our property. One was very close to our home and had to be sectioned off. He did a great job, got the work done in good time, called me back before anyone else, and was very pleasant to interact with. We also needed someone to hang our American flag on a forty- five foot pole. I asked him what he would charge and he said he would do it for free, as he knew many in the military and it would be an honor. After he hung our flag for us he thanked us for the honor of hanging it. A man like that makes me want to do additional business with him.

Tom and Team were the first to call back and the first to come out and take a look at our trees and provide a plan for transforming 20 years of neglect into something we can improve now for years to come. 3 trees removed and 6 pruned. They spent the day in my yard and by 7pm you would not have known they were there. So professional and willing to take the time to talk in simple terms any homeowner can understand. Tom and company cut down a small tree and trimmed three others. Tom was very professional and easy to work with. They arrived on time and went right to work. Tom has trimmed other trees of mine a year ago so I knew he'd be great with the chainsaw! Very fair pricing. I highly recommend this company!

I highly recommend Gillis Lawn & Tree Care. They did an amazing job trimming and really, re-sculpting with an artist's eye, some large walnut trees, a maple, and an ash tree and I wish I had taken "before" pictures to revel even more in the change. Tom did a great job of educating me ahead of time about what he recommended and why in terms of trimming as well as well as how his approach was geared toward the overall well being and sustainability of the trees. He clearly cares about the trees and puts both his skill and his heart into the work. Personable, trustworthy, and very good at what he does and the same goes for his associate. Tom and his team did a fantastic job on my property alleviating 9 trees and 13 stumps. My property looks amazing now and they cleaned up everything before leaving. Love that I have a tree guy that I can trust!

Tom and I worked out a tree removal plan for my property . He was easy to work with and accommodating on price. I chose Tom because he was aware of the difficulties of removing some of the trees and was determined not to have any personal or property damage. Tom and his crew removed a total of 8 trees and 6 trunks. They did it all in 2 days with no damage and a great job of cleanup. I will have Tom out in the future for a second round of tree removal because I trust him and would highly recommend him to others.
